The Tabata Combo

Start your workout with the Australia's Trusted Workout Warm Up.

Using the TRX, a straight barbell (or Olympic bar), Plyo Box and bike (note: choose weight for the barbell and resistance for the bike that is challenging for the exercises below)

20secs of work and 10sec rest x 8 on each exercise for 2 sets.

Example:

  • TRX Front Squat – 20secs on / 10secs off x 8 efforts (total time 4mins)
  • Bent over row to overhead press – 20secs on / 10secs off x 8 efforts (total time 4mins)
  • Alternating High Knee Steps Ups – 20secs on / 10secs off x 8 efforts (total time 4mins)
  • Bike (spinning) – 20sec on / 10sec rest x 8 efforts (total time 4mins)

    Each 20sec working effort is done as fast as you can.

      Take 1min rest between changing exercises. 

      Complete all 4 exercises = 1set.

      After first set rest 3mins then complete a 2nd set.
