Intervals Session With a Buddy

Start your workout with the Australia's Trusted Workout Warm Up.

This is a great workout for either the Cross Trainer, Bike, Rower or Stepper. 

Grab a training buddy to do this workout alongside you.

Adjust the speed / resistance to match your fitness level. Each working effort (timed effort) is done as fast as you can go for the entirety of the working effort. Use your rest period to bring the heart down so concentrate on nice big deep breaths. As you start to fatigue towards the end of the workout, adjust your working effort pace so you can keep going to the end!

    Example:

    Cross Trainer (warm up for 2 mins)

    1 min – As fast as possible (AFAP)
    Rest 1 min

    2 min – AFAP
    Rest 1 min

    3 min – AFAP
    Rest 1 min

    Repeat 

    (Note: during your rest period make sure you keep your legs or arms turning over so the machine doesn’t turn off) 

    Tip:

    Each working effort is done as fast as possible. Adjust the resistance to the level that will challenge you for the entire working effort.
