Balance & Cardio Buddy Circuit
Start your workout with the Australia's Trusted Workout Warm Up.
This is great workout with a mate. Person A completes the cardio exercise for time whilst Person B does the balance exercise. Then they swap before moving onto the next two exercises. To add an element of competition, track how far you go on the cardio and how many reps you do on the balance exercise, then when you swap with your training buddy see if you can beat their score.
- A) 2 min Row – B) Bosu Squats
- A) 2 min Run – B) Swiss Ball Jacknifes
- A) 2 min Bike (hill climb) – B) Single Leg Swiss Ball Lunge (1 min each leg)
- A) 2 min Cross Trainer – B) T Rotation
(Note: If the balance exercises are too challenging then substitute for either of these: Bosu Squat / Bodyweight Squat: Swiss Ball Jacknife / Mountain Climbers: Swiss Ball lunge / Static Lunge: T Rotation / Plank Hold)
If you do this workout by yourself, make sure you use a timer for the balance exercises (2 mins) and if can, record your distances and reps for each exercise then try and beat next time you do this workout.
